Who:  We are excited to welcome Minnesota and out of state dancers age 11 and up.

• What: Alliance Dance Lab POWERED BY Alliance Dance Network is giving dancers a unique opportunity to take a hour In Studio class with Katie Groven Owner of Dancer Fitness. Dancers will Unlock the potential of their skills, power and flexibility with strength training! With this energetic and educational workout class participating dancers will learn which muscles contribute to their skills and how to strengthen them to increase skill consistency and reach their goals faster as well as be featured in the class content + recap video on the Alliance Dance Network//Alliance Dance Lab's IG, FB, and YT.

Why: To offer Minnesota and out of state dancers, the opportunity to train with qualified local, and across the country dance educators, with in studio and online classes + OSDX WS.

Here’s what you get:

• A 1 hr Strength Training For Skills class with Katie Grove Owner of Dance Fitness via Alliance Dance Network.

• Learning class footage captured by the ADN.

• 15 min Q & A to ask Katie questions for example: how to improve your training process at home.

• The Learning class footage captured by the ADN, emailed to you up to 2 weeks after the class, in a dropbox folder to share on your social media.

• A feature in the rehearsal footage, group run-throughs, and improv freestyle section of the class, in a recap video +content posts, posted on the ADN/ADL's IG. FB, and YT Channel.

• Your Name & IG handle tagged in the recap video + posts/descriptions.

-Alliance Dance Lab Online Class Schedule-

4:15 pm to 4:30 pm - Dancers Sign In

4:30 pm to 5:30 pm - Learn and perform Strength Training For Skills exercises with Katie (with water breaks taken during the class)

5:30 pm to 5:45 pm - Q & A with Katie to ask for example: how to improve your taining process at home.

What Happens Next: We will edit the live stream footage and edit it into a ONLINE CLASS recap video and share it on the ADN's IG, YT, FB.

Please Note: All dancers must be ages 11 to Seniors in HS. Dancers must have a parent register/electronically sign a model release/waiver.

HOW TO REGISTER & ATTEND YOUR Alliance Dance Lab Class

1) Read through the Ticket Description above/what it includes 2)  Select how many tickets you would like to purchase below 3) Fill out the registration form/waiver/model release/agreement 4) Check out 5) Receive your Alliance Dance Lab confirmation email and an additional one with the class location's address, about where to park at the studio etc. 4) Print off or show the CLASS PASS on your smartphone to be scanned when you sign in for your class.

Katie Groven is an ACSM certified personal trainer, holistic health coach and two time world champion dancer. She is the creator of dancer-fitness.com  an online exercise database designed to transform competitive dancers into athletic powerhouses. Katie has combined her 25 years of dance training and her fitness expertise to crack the code on improving skills, endurance and flexibility using strength training. Her signature strength training process called STRENGTHNIQUE is used by dozens of national and state champion teams all over the world.Katie travels the country cross training teams and studios including Larkin Dance Studio, home to World of Dance finalists Eva Igo, Ellie and Ava Wagner and The Trilogy. When she’s not training individual dancers or teams she’s spending quality time with her husband Chris, daughters Hazel and Amelia are growing her collection of Converse shoes.
